Mrs Monametsi entered the competition of being Mrs south Africa because she believed that Mrs South Africa is a woman empowerment program that presents an opportunity for married women in South Africa to demonstrate what impact they can bring in our country, how involved they are in social welfare issues, community projects, charity events, women empowerment.

Mrs Monametsi was asked how does it feel to be in the spotlight of being Mrs South Africa and she said" i feel so humble to be in the spotlight of being south Africa and i believe that i can win it because I believe i can do all things through Christ"
