together

Eric Ngwenya 25 years of age saw an opportunity to start to
start a business that is different from other businesses around Tembisa. He
named his business Mapha and his making the best trimazzine that everyone has
ever tasted. Many people around Tembisa go there just to buy the famous
Trimazzine.
The idea of Mapha's kitchen came from him as he was
preparing food for his former workmates and his family, everyone loved the dish
then he decided to start selling the Food. He is not just selling any food but
his making something different from other fast food kitchens around Tembisa.
Mapha’s kitchen started 8 November 2016, Mapha’s kitchen
cater for everyone, they make Trimazzine kota, Trimazzine Dagwood,popcorn, ribs
and wings and also platters available.
When he first started Mapha’s kitchen he didn’t have any
sponser so his mother and sister helped him with finance.
Eric was asked what is the challenges that he encounter as
a young business man and he said, “One of the challenges he has is customer
service because they have to wait for a long time before they get their food
but it’s worth the wait”
Mpho Hlungwani who is one of the regular customers at Mapha’s
Kitchen she says that, she go there every day on lunch time to buy the Trimazzine.

“Every day on my lunch time I go there and buy the
Trimazzine because it’s the only thing that I love and it’s delicious. I don’t
see myself buying any other thing other than the Trimazzine”

Eric he doesn’t want to end in Tembisa only but in the next
5 years he sees mapha's being one of the best restaurant around Gauteng and
also catering for events.
He also motivates young people to never let their
background to stand in their way and also they must use their talent and skills
to get to the top.
