30 year old Rhandzu Nyandane, ,God fearing woman who doesn't want nothing but to be successful and also be a motivation to other women, to show them tat its possible |
1.
Who is Meranda Rhandzu Nyandane?
Who is Rhandzu…..mmmhhh..
Rhandzu is a girl who was born in small town in
Limpopo called Giyani. Who had the opportunity to have an adventurous
childhood, by being exposed to different environment, different cultures and people?
She is a first born of Philetus and
Nkhensani Nyandane, and an elder sister of two sibling Lumkile and Lulama
Nyandane.
She loves motivating and inspiring
people around her to be great, because she believes we all have the seed and a
potential to be great in our own space, purpose and calling.
Rhandzu is an ambitious woman, a persistent
hustler and definitely loves challenge.
Moreover and most importantly Rhandzu
loves God, love being in His house. He comes first and by His grace I do all I can
to live and keep His word.

How was your childhood?
…I had an interesting childhood the
most children actually. The nice thing about being the first born child or
grandchild everyone wants to live with you (hahaha). So I had everyone fighting
for me…J.
But for a long time I lived with my
late grandparents, my aunts and uncles (So you can imagine I got spoiled a
lot). Then when I started primary I went to live with my parents for a short
while, I then moved to live with my other grandparents in Soweto, Johannesburg,
and the story goes on…
I think in my childhood I learnt a
lot to be independent, I travelled a lot also (which I still enjoy). But I had
the opportunity to meet a lot of people make a lot of friends. And from that
experience, that is why today I don’t like comfort zones, or settling. I always
want to take risk, do more, be more and be somewhere.
I was born in a Christian home, and
I got born again at such a very young age and so throughout my childhood I
always wrote letters to God, I would have a one on one with God, tell him about
my dreams, hurts and I did this mostly because for me He was one Friend that I
could trust that He will always move with me from one place to another. From
that young age I knew He would never leave me.
I remember in boarding school when
it would rain and I was sad or missed home, I would look up and somehow I felt
better, because rain for me was a symbol that God has not left me and I would really
feel warm and better afterwards.
The other day I found one of the
letters I use to write to God. And I was shocked of what I wrote then. And recently I was reminded of the purity
pledge I took when I was 10 years, I don’t think I knew then what I was getting
myself into, but it’s amazing that when
you make a covenant with God, is not just you making the covenant, he makes the
covenant with you also and He remains faithful.
With all that being said I look back
now and I am shocked on how such a small child could unconsciously have had an understanding
about God and faith.
And so how was my childhood? … I guess
it is where I saw the Grace and the Presence of God more, and fell in love with
Him.
And obviously it gets sweeter with
years J
3.
What did you want to become during your time in school( Primary and High
school)
I always enjoyed math, I was always
terrible with languages and still struggle with it. But I always had a head for
figures, so then, I wanted to be an
engineer or anything to do with mathematics really.
4.
Who was your role model?
My uncle Themba Hlengani has always
been my role model – and honestly I had no choice, my mom always praised him, ‘you
must be like Themba’, ‘you see Themba finished school’. He studied journalism,
so my mom would cut of the articles he wrote or save the whole newsletter if
possible…hahaha J
But my uncle has always been my role
model and now my business mentor (at least I force him to be hahaha)
5.
Who kept you to be the woman you are today?
God! God’s word has always centered
me and grounded me in my path.
Secondly my mom has always trained
me to be a better woman, to do better. She always wanted for me what she did
not have. And tried her best to send me to the best schools.
6.
Do you think you’ve made it in life?
Oooh No!!! Not even close. Watch the
space, there is still more to do, more people to inspire and to help find their
path…But I am truly grateful for what I have been able to achieve so far.
7.
Are you where you want to be?
Not by a looong shot… But I am not
where I use to be, and that once again I am grateful.
8.
Where do you see yourself in the next 3 years?
Owning a couple of more businesses,
being a millionaire, and I would like to obtain my master’s degree soon.
And mostly importantly I want to
assist every child in Africa to find their destiny, so I am hoping in this
short space a lot would be achieved.
9.
How was it to start your own company?
Honestly I had been dreaming of
starting my own company ever since I can’t remember. So starting was like stop
procrastinating Meranda! If not NOW? WHEN?
So it was one of those milestones I
had to overcome, it’s scary off course and still is – sometimes I don’t know whether
I’m going or staying….But I have faith!
10.
Are men intimidated by who you are?
Hahaha….I would like to think not,
well I hope not, I would like to think that they are inspired, motivated to
step up…hahaha
But if they are, I guess they are
not for me…hahaha
11.
What is your advice to women who want to be like you?
Be confident in who God has made you
to be, the only person you are competing with is your yesteryears self, so take
time in discovering you, improving you and empowering you.
Know who you are, whose you are and
what you want out of life.
God does not make duplicates!
There is a purpose for everything,
nothing will come easy, so work hard.
It is a journey, so it will get
bumpy and stormy at times.
Boys will always be there. Being
single won’t kill you.
Be the woman you want your children
to look up to.

Destined for Greatness”
